Violet: A dream come true, light lilac or lavender shades are wonderfully romantic and provide a nice atmosphere. They let rooms appear delicate and relaxing at the same time and therefore are often used in bedrooms or nurseries. Strong aubergine or blackberry shades, however, are used by courageous trendsetters only. The darker shades have a heavy and mysterious effect and usually are painted only on small areas in a room. Light violet shades can perfectly be combined with green, yellow or green. Contrasted with white, violet shades are a real eyecatcher.
