Skim coating No. 339

This highly diffusion-open skim coat plaster is the ideal substrate preparation for wall surfaces that have minor unevenness or where fabric or reinforcement tapes are used to level out joints. The ready-to-use wall filler can be applied directly from the bucket with a smoothing trowel, wall paint roller or by spraying onto the wall and then smoothed.
The filler can be used to coat all common interior wall surfaces, e.g. plaster, clay, concrete, silicate plaster, sand-lime brick, plasterboard, plasterboard or glass fibre wallpaper. The subsequent coat can be applied with all AURO wall paint products.

After one to several application and sanding processes, a creamy white, super-smooth surface with high adhesion is created. In thicker coats, the universal filler dries through without cracking and can be felted when wet, but can also be sanded well when dry. Larger holes or cracks must be filled with Wall Filler No. 329 before priming.
The plaster is free of preservatives, free of emissions and solvents and flame retardant. The biogenic binder REPLEBIN®* guarantees professional product properties and zero emissions: better substrate compatibility and adhesion, oil-free, with low drying odours and no dark yellowing.

*REPLEBIN® is a proprietary development of AURO research. The REPLEBIN® binder has been independently tested for emissions. The product is AgBB compliant.

Coloured tinting is possible with a maximum of 5 % Full-shade and tinting colour No. 330. Corner protectors and edge protection profiles can be worked into the filler. After 12-48 hours (depending on the building moisture and the layer thickness), the filler can be reworked. Any visible or tangible edges must always be sanded smooth before painting the wall.

Very smooth wall surfaces (surface qualities Q3 and Q4) can be created with the skim coating. The filler, which can be pulled out to zero, is the ideal preparation for perfect wallpapering or painting work in old and new buildings.
