27 In 2009, the latest insights and requirements concerning energy-effi- ciency were observed and implemented in the conception of the new building. Corresponding to the company philosophy, only environmen- tally friendly building materials were used. The building conforms to the latest version of the Ordinance on Thermal Insulations. The heating was connected to the already existant solar installation and a controlled ven- tilation system installed that cares for a good indoor climate. In the same year, the energy footprint of the old office building was significantly improved by means of an eco-friendly complete heat protection. The AURO wintergarden, used as social environment and seminar room, received a new heat protection glazing in 2010.
