Design walls in two colors
The trick with the adhesive tape
First paint the upper part of the wall surface. Once the top coat has dried well, stick the masking tape to the bottom edge of the paint where the separation is to take place. Press down well, using a cloth if necessary.
Now “paint” the lower edge of the adhesive tape with the same color using a smaller brush. The paint undercuts the adhesive tape slightly – despite the good pressure. This makes the adhesive tape side “tight”.
When the second color is painted over it after drying, it can no longer run under the adhesive tape, as this has already been done by the top color. The result is a clean, straight transition between the different colors.
