    Winner of the German Sustainability Award 2025 – AURO wins the award in the Business category, in the Paints and Coatings subcategory.

  • 2023

    New production hall construction – To match the huge success of the COLOURS FOR LIFE line and high-grade clay paint. By scaling up production, AURO wants to serve customer needs better and faster.

  • 2022

    Market launch of COLOURS FOR LIFE wood stains with ecological pastes – machine tintable.

  • 2019

    The introduction of our Ecolith lime paints for interiors and facades.

  • 2017

    AURO is the first paint manufacturer to develop a machine tinting system for wall paints using consistently ecological pastes – COLOURS FOR LIFE premium wall and ceiling paint is launched on the market.

  • 2015

    AURO product development is breaking new ground in technical performance with state-of-the-art biogenic binders.
  • 2014

    30 years of tradition and innovation. AURO launches its new ‘classic edition’ line. Classic colour raw materials and their stories.

  • 2012

    From 2012 onwards, extensive investment in personnel in the areas of research and development, shipping and logistics, and domestic and international sales.

  • 2009

    New construction of the sales building and renovation of the administration building with integration of a shop and showroom as a forward-looking investment in the company location.

  • 2008

    Market launch of the professional lime range. Mineral paints for mould prevention. AURO quickly gains market share and is able to further expand its product range.

  • 2007

    Market launch of the ‘Brilliant Solutions’ cleaning and care range. Ecological and technical speciality cleaners for all areas of the home.

  • 2006

    Test victory for AURO Woodstain, Aqua No. 160-84 in Germany's best-known consumer protection magazine ‘Test’ (Stiftung Warentest).
  • 2004

    Introduction of a new label concept with revised product range classification for all product areas.
  • 2001

    Complete AURO range of solvent-free paints, stains, waxes and oils on the market.

    Environmental award from the international environmental foundation ‘Friends of the Earth’
