Mineral fillers, calcium hydroxide, cellulose
Raw materials scienceThis powdered filler can be used to level out unevenly absorbent walls, e.g. plasterboard, before painting with high-grade lime products.
It is simply mixed with water: Depending on the desired consistency, add 460-580 ml of water to 1 kg of plaster powder and stir until lump-free, leave to swell for 2-5 minutes, stir well again and use within 8 hours. The High-grade lime filler is suitable for repairing small imperfections as well as for large-scale application to level the substrate.
The filler can also be coloured: It is tinted with AURO coloured lime paint No. 350 and can then be heavily compacted on the wall using the smooth trowel technique with a Venetian trowel to create mirror-smooth walls (similar to Tadelakt). We show you how to do this in our video.
Sprinkle 3 kg of High-grade lime filler into approx. 1.75 litres of water and stir until lump-free, leave to swell for 2 – 5 minutes, stir well again and apply within 8 hours. Application thickness up to 3 mm.
The mixed plaster can be coloured with Lime tinting base No. 350. The plaster should cure for 24 hours per mm layer thickness before the surface is further treated with AURO lime paints or plasters.
