“Our naturally white, temperature-regulating, purely mineral fine plaster based on high-quality white lime is ideal for creating decorative wall techniques. It can be textured as a finishing plaster using a brush or felt board. Its unique composition gives it a lively texture and an extremely sculptural effect. It also has a temperature-regulating effect, i.e. the heat is radiated back into the room by Keratherm in winter. In summer, on the other hand, the warm air is reflected back outwards, which has a positive effect on the indoor climate.

As it is a lime plaster, it naturally also has the typical advantages of lime. Keratherm ensures moisture regulation in the room and is ideally equipped against mould thanks to its alkalinity.”

Prime highly absorbent substrates. Mix Keratherm to a homogeneous mass and apply evenly with a stainless steel smoothing trowel. Either structure with a brush or felt with a sponge board after lightly tightening the surface. Keratherm medium No. 348 can also be used as an undercoat to easily level out different height conditions.

Texturing with a brush: If the white lime sets too quickly, the surface can be lightly misted with water to delay drying out and allow more time for texturing. Texturing with a felting board or sponge board: The surface must be slightly dry for this, so it is very important to find the right time for felting. To find out this point in time, you can try felting the surface; if it rubs on too quickly, it is too early; if nothing changes, it is too late.
