AURO, the innovative specialist for ecological paints introduces the COLOURS FOR LIFE Wood Stain No. 560 a solvent-free, water-based wood stainbased and silk-matt wood stain that can be used both indoors and outdoors.

The COLOURS FOR LIFE wood stain is available in 65 different shades and is made from plant-based raw materials and exclusively mineral pigments, which ensure particularly authentic and vibrant colors. The sustainable variety of colors is perfect for outdoor use, wood surfaces are reliably protected from external influences, while the natural wood grain is retained. The stain offers excellent protection after just two coats. The transparent variant no. 560-01 even protects the wood from graying. The versatile portfolio can also be used for creative interior design, ensuring a pleasant and stylish living experience.
Health and environmentally friendly
The ecological shades ensure a healthy indoor climate within your own four walls. They are solvent-free, low-odour, sustainable and naturally suitable for children’s toys. They meet important standards such as DIN EN 71-3 for the treatment of toys and DIN 53160 for perspiration and saliva fastness – perfect for use in living and sleeping areas. The water-based COLOURS FOR LIFE paints are biodegradable and kind to the environment as they are made from natural materials. This makes them not only environmentally friendly, but also particularly suitable for allergy sufferers and environmentally conscious consumers. All AURO products are clearly labeled and the treated wood can be easily composted at the end of its life cycle.
Easy to use
The wood stain is easy to apply, has an even flow and is particularly hard-wearing. It also dries quickly. It is suitable for all types of wood, including highly absorbent wood, which should first be primed with the transparent version no. 560-01 or a tinted stain.
