Brunswick, June 2023 – For people and nature – this is the common motto that has united the German Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union (NABU) and AURO for 38 years. The organization’s international projects primarily include projects that involve local people and contribute to sustainable development. AURO is now exclusively supporting the minimization of human-wildlife conflicts near the Mkomazi National Park in Tanzania in cooperation with the NABU International Nature Conservation Foundation. Conflicts are inevitable due to the ever smaller areas for humans and animals. NABU International’s work on the ground provides a remedy. Edwin Hribek, AURO Chairman of the Board, is delighted with the cooperation “It is important to be actively involved in as many environmental issues as possible. By supporting the project, we are sending out a signal that environmentally friendly products and sustainable production processes alone are not enough. The exclusive project can be viewed here.
