Gothic house in Wörlitz

Object

The Gothic House in Wörlitz Park is one of the oldest, largely original neo-Gothic buildings in Europe, built in 1773. Originally planned as a gardener’s house, it became a retreat for Prince Franz of Anhalt-Dessau. It is characterised by two different façades (neo-Gothic/Tudor Gothic). Inside, it houses an important collection of stained glass, handicrafts and historical furniture. The floor is regularly treated with our Hard Wax No. 171.
