Coloured wood stains for indoor and outdoor use. This silky-gloss wood stain, which is water-based and free from solvents, can be used without hesitation for toys and interior surfaces, even in children’s rooms. It fulfils the required DIN/EN standards, which have been tested for the treatment of toys as well as for saliva and perspiration fastness.
The outstanding technical properties of the Wood stain Aqua also impressed the testers at Stiftung Warentest; they declared the stain the test winner. (Issue 5/06, Test: Wood stains) Available in the following colors, which can all be mixed with each other: Ochre Yellow, Pine, Light Oak, Orange, Dark Red, Ruby Red, Mahogany, Azure, Ultramarine Blue, Oxide Green, Green, Gray, Umber, Brown, Walnut, Light Brown, Rosewood, White, Black. Also for indoor use only: colourless. Woods rich in ingredients are pre-treated with AURO Special primer No. 117: e.g. oak, red oak, ash, cherry, chestnut, walnut, larch, bamboo, framiere, red cedar, red meranti, almendrillo (cumaru), játoba (paquió), OSB and cork.
Prime with Hard Primer No. 127 or diluted wood stain, or with Special Primer No. 117 for wood rich in substances, followed by 1 to 2 coats indoors and 2 to 3 coats outdoors.
The wood stain can be used without hesitation for toys and interior surfaces, even in children’s rooms, as it complies with the relevant DIN/EN standards. It has excellent weather resistance outdoors.
Water, linseed oil*, colophony glycerol ester with organ. acids*, mineral fillers, rapeseed and castor oil surfactants, mineral pigments, silicic acid, drying agents (cobalt-free), castor oil*, sunflower oil*, titanium dioxide, *as amine soap, cellulose, xanthan gum.
No. 160-00 does not contain pigments.
